Braveridge GlimPearl Leverless Arcade Controller

ECO Transformer supported Braveridge in developing GlimPearl, a premium leverless arcade controller, from concept to a market-ready product. The project covered material selection, mechanical design, component integration, user experience, and production feasibility.

Project Background:
Braveridge planned to develop GlimPearl as a high-end leverless arcade controller for competitive and advanced gaming users. The product needed to feel different from a standard controller: compact, premium, responsive, durable, and easy to maintain.
ECO Transformer joined the project as a manufacturing and component-development partner, helping translate Braveridge’s product intent into practical engineering and production requirements.

Distinctive Material and
CMF Quality

Braveridge wanted GlimPearl to stand out through both appearance and touch. The NAGORI resin top panel needed to deliver a marble-like visual effect and ceramic-like hand feel, while still fitting the mechanical and production requirements of a controller used for intense play.

Fast, Reliable Input
Architecture

For fighting games, small differences in input feel and response can influence the user experience. The design needed to integrate OneFRAME low-stroke buttons, a fixed 15-button layout, and a Brook Gen-5 MINI Fighting Board while keeping the structure reliable, serviceable, and suitable for multi-platform use.

Compact Structure With
Maintenance Access

The controller also needed to be easy to maintain over a long product life. Front-opening access, one-touch individual button replacement, internal spare-button storage, button-lock functionality, wiring layout, and LED display integration all had to fit into a compact enclosure without compromising the external design.

ECO Transformer supported Braveridge by connecting product design requirements with manufacturable component and structure solutions. Our role focused on helping turn the premium concept into a practical device that could be assembled, maintained, and produced consistently.

The project work covered material and structure review, component fitting, internal layout coordination, maintenance access planning, and production feasibility support. The NAGORI resin top panel preserved the product’s distinctive visual and tactile identity, while the internal structure supported the OneFRAME buttons, Brook Gen-5 MINI board, LED display, button-lock function, and front-opening maintenance design.

Maintenance-Friendly Structure

Helped realize front-opening access, one-touch button replacement, and internal storage for easier long-term maintenance.

Through the collaboration, Braveridge was able to present GlimPearl as a polished, premium leverless controller with a strong balance of design quality, input performance, durability, and serviceability. ECO Transformer helped reduce the gap between product concept and manufacturable execution by supporting the engineering details behind the finished device.

The result is a controller that serves serious gaming users while also supporting long-term ownership. The product is manufactured in Japan, with repair and inspection handled through Braveridge’s domestic factory support system, giving the end user both performance confidence and after-sales reliability.

Better Competitive Experience

The controller integrates low-stroke buttons, low-latency electronics, and a clear 15-button layout for fast, accurate play.

Stronger Product Identity

The NAGORI top panel and compact body give Braveridge a distinctive premium product in the controller category.

Longer Product Life

Front access, one-touch button replacement, internal storage, and domestic repair support make maintenance simpler for users.
